Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra
Dates: Various
Cost: £8 (subject to availability) In-Person Event
September means the start of a brand-new season for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan will make a real statement as he opens the season with some of the biggest and boldest works in classical music. He’ll bring pure sonic celebration with a floor-shaking wall of sound in Janáček’s Sinfonietta, before turning to something a bit gentler, as Mahler’s Fourth – and sunniest – Symphony takes us on a tour of the entire universe.

Old Dock Tour

Discover the origin of Liverpool's fortune, buried underneath Liverpool ONE. Revealed during excavations on the site in 2001, the story of the world's first commercial enclosed wet dock is explored on this guided tour.

Norton Priory Museum & Gardens

Once home to a medieval church, this is the most excavated monastic site in Europe. Visitors can explore the 12th century undercroft with beautiful vaulted ceiling and the priory ruins showing the layout of the medieval buildings.
